You may be surprised that getting a private pilot's license is not as expensive as you might think. With our flight training packages, we make flying affordable. Here are the options:
Flight students pay for the aircraft rental and the flight instructor's time after each flight lesson. We accept credit cards, cash, or check. With this option, you can pay full rate as a non-club member or join our Indy Aero Flyer's Club. The club requires a one-time initiation fee of $399 and a $39 per month to receive up to $20/hour off of the aircraft rental, $5/hour off of the flight instruction fees, and a 10% discount on pilot supplies (excluding charts).
The AOPA Flight Training Funds account allows you the flexibility to structure your training to fit your needs. Use the account to pay for a rating or certificate program, or just to get the additional hours you need to feel safe and comfortable in your aircraft. You can use your account to pay for aircraft rental, instructor fees, books, and supplies. Or anything else to make your training successful, the choice is yours, you control how and where you use your account.
As a Cessna Pilot Center, we have now partnered with AOPA and Bank of America to offer a fixed rate credit-based loan. Account features:
The Discover Flying with AOPA Flight Training Funds program is funded through a third-party provider not associated with Cessna, Textron or Textron’s finance companies.
